About me
Peggy Moody Olegario is an experienced educator with more than 34 years in public education, specializing in English Learner (EL) instruction, curriculum development, and teacher leadership. She currently serves as an ESL teacher at Stacy Middle School, working with Grade 8 multilingual learners, and has been an Adult ESL instructor with Framingham Adult ESL (FAESL Plus) for more than 10 years. Throughout her career, Peggy has taught students from Pre-K through adulthood in both the United States and Brazil, bringing extensive experience in language acquisition, culturally responsive teaching, and differentiated instruction.
Peggy holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University and professional Massachusetts licensure in Elementary Education and English as a Second Language. In addition to her classroom work, she has led professional development workshops for fellow educators, mentoring colleagues and sharing best practices in instructional strategies, language development, and student-centered learning. Peggy is passionate about empowering multilingual learners, fostering collaboration among educators, and creating engaging learning environments that support academic achievement and language growth.
