About me
Ginger is the Math Instructor for the High School Completion Program at Hawkeye Community College. She has a B.S. in Mathematics and an Master's of Business Administration. She has been teaching for six years, five of those included hybrid teaching using Zoom. She started out teaching middle and high schoolers, but soon transitioned to working with adult learners after two years. Even though teaching was not her original plan, she realized along the way that she has a knack for explaining things in a way the students understand well and decided to roll with it. Outside of work, she is training for a marathon, has a reading goal of 250 books by the end of the year, and has two cat at home named Floof and Chonk.
